Review of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box on a 2012 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2012 Honda CRV were going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 roof mounted cargo box part #: Y07193. To fit the cargo box to our vehicle first well place it up on top of our crossbars. Well then position the clamps over our crossbars and adjust the placement of our cargo box until we get it where we want it. Then well move back and forth from driver side to passenger side to tighten down the clamps inside the box that go around the crossbars. Be careful to make sure that you position the cargo box in a manner that it wont inhibit access to your hatch door at the rear of the vehicle. With all four of the clamps tightened down were all ready to load up our box and get on with our trip.

That does it for our test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 part #: Y07193 on our 2012 Honda CRV.

Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2013 Honda CR-V, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, part number TH613. There are a few notes that we want to make aware. When installing this cargo box, we came into contact with the rear antenna. In this case, the rear antenna was removable by simply untwisting it. We decided to go ahead and remove the antenna so our cargo box would be a better fit on the CR-V. With a sleek and long aerodynamic style of this box, it's important to know that you will not be able to open up your hatch without the cargo box and your rear hatch door coming in contact.

Its important to know that you will not be able to open up your hatch without the cargo box and your rear hatch door coming in contact. To begin our testing, well go and place our cargo box on top of our crossbars. Well then open our cargo box where we can tighten down the four gray knobs. Make sure that the clamps are already set to be around the crossbars.

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2013 Honda CR-V, we'll be test fitting the Thule MOAB also known as the Mother of All Baskets Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part number TH690XT. To begin our test fit, we'll take notice that our crossbars are separated at 32 inches. Now, we're ready to load our carrier on top of our crossbars. Once we have our carrier on top of our crossbars, we can tighten each clamp by twisting the gray knob to secure the clamps. Once we have each clamp secured, we can then go ahead and put our covers back over each clamp. With that, our basket is installed and we're ready to hit the road.
