2011 Honda Odyssey we'll be doing testing 0:00:02 of the Yakima Roof Rack System. We'll be using the Yakima Q Tower part number Y00138 and 38-inch crossbars part number Y00409. We'll start up the crossbars and pre-assemble according to instruction. We'll go ahead and start with the first rail and place it on the roof closest to the windshield. We've got a cross bar on the roof, so we'll make sure it's squared up. We'll measure from the seam manufacturer's roof rack to the linear edge of the tower and you're just measuring both sides.
We've got the first crossbar in place. Now we'll do the exact same thing to your crossbar, except that we'll measure our front crossbar to place the rear bar properly. Now you have to check with your accessory that you'll be using the top of this roof rack for proper distance. With the crossbars in place, we can tighten them down. These towers have two different bolts that we need to tighten down.
Well tighten down the silver bolt first and move back and forth through each side. Then we'll tighten down the black bolt and repeat the same process for our rear bar. With a few of these steps, our roof rack is already installed. Now we'll give you one final measure from the top of the edge of the factory roof rack to the linear edge of the tower. The edge height will be 2-1/4 inches.
With that, that'll finish our test of the Yakima Roof Rack System on the 2011 Honda Odyssey.
