Today in our 2012 Nissan Frontier, we'll be installing the draw tight hitch part number 75282. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch, pin hole to the out most edge of the bumper is 3-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver, tube to the ground is 17-1/2 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier.
Now lets go ahead with the installation. We have a total of six attachment points. There will be weld nuts in the frame, three on the drivers side and three on the passengers side. Before we put our hitch in place will want to go ahead and clean out the weld nuts because over time theyll build up with rust, dirt and debris. To clean out the weld nuts, well be using a half inch nylon tooth brush, part number 814092 and spray lubricant.
Well go ahead and start with the rear most fasteners on the drivers side. Now once we have it cleaned out well go ahead and take one of a new bolt and thread it in just to make sure its going to go nice and easily. Now with that done well go ahead and repeat the same process with the other five attachment points. Each process we do hear on the drivers side is going to get repeated identically on the passengers side. Now with all six attachment points cleaned out we are ready to go ahead and put our hitch in place.
Well be using the new ten millimeter bolt, lock washer and flat washer. Now we are ready to put our hitch in place. Its good idea to get an extra set of hands to help you hold the hitch while you install your fasteners. Now with all our fasteners in place well go ahead and tighten them down. Once we have all the fasteners tightened down we can go ahead and torque the specifications as indicated in the instructions.
With all of our fasteners torque to specifications, this is going to complete the install of our draw tight hitch part number 75282.

Today on this 2012 Nissan Frontier, were going to install part number 13241 from Curt. All right this is what the hitch looks once its installed on the vehicle. Next well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 18-3/4 and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be around 3-1/4. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed.All right the first thing were going to do is go ahead and show you where the hitch will mount up to the frame. On each side of the frame close to the bumper will be three sets of threaded holes, well go ahead and point those out.
