Today on 1995 Ford e350 van were going to be installing draw-tite hitch part number 41906. Before we start our installation were going to give you a couple of measurements that will assist you is like to excess the accessories for your hitch. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is going to be sixteen inches in this case the center of the hitch been hole goes pass the bumper by a bottom inch. When were going to need the vehicle in the first thing that weve done is lower the spare tire to give us a little more working room. Next well point out the attachment point for the hitch. On the drivers side here well be using the two rears most holes which will be the same on the passenger side.
There is a third hole will have to drill once we get the hitch in the position and we will use the hitches as the template for that hole. One last thing to do prior to installing your hardware is the rear most hole needs to be drill out to a larger size 9 feet tall. Well go ahead and do that now. Next we drop in our hardware for the rear most hole will be using the hex bolt and flat washer. For the middle and third attachment points well be using the same except we will add this one-inch by two-inch blocks.
In some models on the passenger side you may find the exhausted on the way for drilling the third hole. This happens to be case here so will go ahead and lower the exhaust to give us some more working room. Now we will let the hitch in the position a quick note here at the middle of the attachment well need two-spaced blocks between the frame and the hitch. We will tighten the first two bolts to get the hitch in the position for the drilling. When drilling its hole we will start with the pilot bit and work all the way at the final sides.
With that done we will drop the hardware in the place and tighten it down as well. Now we can toward down all the bolts as specified in the instructions. We did it done to make sure to put exhaust back up as well as your spare tire and the installation will be complete.
