Review of a Pro Series Eclipse 4 Hitch Bike Rack on a 2003 Honda Odyssey

Today we are going to do a quick review of part number 63124, from Tow Ready. This is their 4 bike hitch mount bike rack. And we will be demonstrating this on a 2003 Honda Odyssey. Let us start off by installing the bike rack on to the 2 inch receiver hitch. Line up the holes and install the anti-rattle hitch pin. While we are by the hitch we will give you some measurements that will give you a little point of reference on how everything fits together. From the bottom of the bicycle rack to the ground, we are looking at 9 inches. And also from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar, you are looking at about 8 inches. 0:38

Next we will go ahead and show you how the rack folds down. All you have to do is pull out this pin right here and lower it down and out of the way. And that way you have full access to the back of the vehicle. And we can go ahead and put our bike rack back up so we can put some bikes on there. And the bike rack cradles have thick rubber padding on them to hold the bike and nice hook and loop fasteners to hold the bike in place. Put the bike on, balance it out and then install the straps. And that will show how a typical road bike frame will fit on this bicycle rack. Alright and there you have it for part number 63124 from Tow Ready.
