Today on our 2003 Ford F250, we'll be installing the Access TonnoSport roll-up cover, Part # A22010319. To start, we'll take the passenger side side-rail with the water-strip facing the inside lip of the truck bed and pushed all the way forward on the inside of the bed nearest the cab. Here's where we want the edge of the rail to meet the top edge of the truck bed using spring clamps to hold it in position. Now we'll take the clamps provided with our install kit starting at the forward near the cabin to secure the bed rail to the truck bed. Keep in mind in positioning and tightening your clamp to, one, make sure the clamp grooves is line up with the side-rail grooves and that when you're tightening it down, it brings the side rail flat portion down level with the truck bed. Now let's go ahead and put our little clamps in position and tighten them down.
We'll do the forward clamp first then the center or middle clamp and then our third clamp next to the tailgate. Now with the passenger side down, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the driver side. It may be necessary to reposition the clamp to make sure you're bringing the side rail level with the truck bed. Now we're ready to go ahead and install the easy dial tensioner on to the front bar of our cover. As you can see, the easy dial tensioner are indicated left to right, left being the driver side, right being the passenger side.
As we install them, we use the bolt and flat washer provided with our install kit. We'll leave these loosely installed until we get them into position. Now we're ready to go ahead and set the front rail and cover nearest the cab on our side rails. We'll bring the other half bar easy dial tensioner down underneath the side rail thru the pre-drilled hole and install the half inch bolt and nut provided with our install kit and tighten them down. Now with the paddle sign of our easy dial tensioner tighten down to the side rail, we go ahead and roll our cover up and latch it into position.
Now with our cover rolled out and latch in position, I'm going to go back to the easy dial tensioner and tighten down the bolt and flat washer that we previously installed. Now with everything tighten down and secured, we can go ahead and close the tailgate making sure we have a nice snug fit between the tonneau cover and the tailgate. With our cover latch and the tailgate close, this will complete our installation. Our operation is pretty simple and that we simply pull on the latch on the driver side and we can roll our cover back up. And this will complete the install of the Access Tonneau cover, Part # A22010319 for our 2003 Ford F250..
Agri-Cover Vanish Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Installation - 2006 Ford Super Duty
Today we are going to install part number 91309 from Agri-Cover, and this is their Vanish low-profile roll-up tonneau cover. And we are going to install this on a 2006 Ford Super Duty long-bed pickup. Our first step involved is go ahead and, we are going to do the side rails first. What is going to happen is the rail is going to fit on the inside edge of the bed, pushed all the way to the front of the box. And you want this edge to match the top edge of your bed rail. Once you have it the way you want it, you go ahead and clamp it into place. Then we will go back with the regular, permanent clamps. Go up as far as you can on the bed. And then the other half is adjustable where it matches the teeth in the rail. Now, you want to install your clamps as evenly as possible across the rail.
