Today were going to do a test fit of the Thule square loadbar roof-rack kit with traverse speed on our 2011 Ford F150. Weve got already a little bar in feet assemble so lets go ahead and put them on the vehicle. Lets start by opening up both front door and placing the loadbar on the vehicle. Place the loadbar properly we need a measure of 10 and 1/8 inches from where the edge of the windshield and meets the edge of the sheet-metal on top of the roof-rack. All right now, weve got a front loadbar measure out in place and we start turning it down. Well take up some of the slacks on the clamps and then well tighten it down with the included torque tool specifications.
Now from the loadbar set-up we can go ahead and install the rear loadbar. The rear bar is going to sit 29 and 78 inches from the front bar and measurement will be from between the center of the front loadbar and the center of the rear loadbar. Now weve got the read loadbar in place, we can go ahead and tighten it down just as we did at the front bar. The two step process help prevent the bar from shifting, moving and losing their position while being tighten down. Once youve finished tighten down the real loadbar we simply put the torque tool inside the foot pack and close the door.
That will finish the test fit of the Thule square loadbar roof-rack kit on our 2011 Ford F150.
