Today on this 2011 Ford Fiesta hatchback, we're going to be test-fitting a Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack system. We'll be using the 47-inch Aeroblade bars part number THARB47. The Thule Rapid Crossroad fit part number THKIT1503. We already have our roof rack pre-assembled according to the instructions so now we're ready to fit it to the vehicle. The first thing we need to do is open both the front driver and passenger side doors. To position our front bar properly, we need to measure 12-5/8 inches back from the leading edge of the windshield to the front edge of our Traverse Thule.
With our front bar properly positioned, we can go ahead and tighten the system down. We'll move back and forth from drivers side to passenger's side so that we make sure we tighten down the system evenly. With our front bar installed and secured, we're ready to move on to the rear. To position the rear bar properly, we'll need to measure 23-5/8 inches from the center of the front bar to the center of the rear bar. With that rear bar positioned, again we'll move back and forth from driver's side to passenger's side to tighten it down.
Now our roof rack system is installed and ready to use. That does it for our test fit of the Thule Aeroblade roof rack system on a 2011 Ford Fiesta hatch.
