Today in our 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to test-fit the Thule Spare Me bike carrier. Part number TH963XTR. Our first step will be removing the spare tire . Next well take the mounting bracket for our carrier and fit it to the spare tire carrier bracket on the vehicle. Then we'll go ahead and reinstall the spare tire . As you're reinstalling the spare tire the center cap of the wheel will be pushed out by the carrier bracket.
This will not get reinstalled as long as the bike carrier is in place. Now, let's go ahead and mount the bike carrier to the bracket. We'll use the hand knob to secure the bike carrier to the bike carrier bracket. All right now the bike carrier is secured to the spare tire we'll go ahead and undo the whole unstraps in preparation to load our bike. With all down straps out of the way we go and put our bike into the carrier and secure with the down straps.
All right with our bike secured to tour bike carrier we're ready to hit the road. Just a few easy steps, we've gone ahead and secured our bike to the vehicle and our bike to the carrier. Today on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Spare Tire Mount SR2 2 Bike Carrier, part number HRSR2. Now with our spare tire removed from the vehicle and our center cap taken out of the spare tire, well place the black backplate of the carrier onto the lug studs. Well then pick up our spare tire and slide the spare tire onto our Wranglers lug studs. Well then replace the lug nuts and tighten it down using a wrench. This will secure the backplate of the carrier to the vehicle. Well now place the carrier onto the vehicle by sliding the open tube onto the square tube of the backplate then using one of the included bolts; well thread through the carrier and tighten it down with the included wrench. This will secure the carrier to the vehicle.

Today on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Limited well be test fitting the Yakima Spare Time spare tire mount two bike carrier part #: Y02598. Before we begin our test fit we will first need to remove the spare tire of the vehicle. With a wrench well first loosen up the lug nuts. Well then remove the lug nuts to remove the spare tire. After removing the spare tire well need to knock out the center cap. Well then place the black plate of the spare tire mount onto the lug studs.

Today on this 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Spare Tire Rack, part number HRSR2. The first thing we need to do is remove the spare tire from the spare tire mount at the back of our Jeep, then well take our backing plate, fit it over the studs of our spare tire carrier, and reinstall the spare tire. With our spare tire installed, we'll select the proper adapter for the bike rack to accommodate the vehicle's spare tire, then we'll slide it in place over the mount then we'll take the appropriate length of the bolt to secure the carrier to the mount. Then we'll install our locking cover over that bolt. With our bike rack securely mounted, we can prepare to load a bike. We'll swing out the two bike rack arms and we'll also make sure that the rubber straps over the cradles closest to the vehicle are undone.
