Today it's a 2011 Jeep Patriot. We're going to do a test fit of the Thule Roof Rack System. We'll be using a Thule 47" AeroBlades and Rapid CrossRoad Foot Pack. Now, we already have put together by manufacturer instructions. So let's go ahead and just start installing one to our factory roof rack. Now, locations of a crossbar will vary, you want to check with the manufactures low-limits and instructions that came with the factory roof rack.
And also you want to check the dimensions on the accessories you want to put on top of your AeroBlades. So we've got first one on place. The straps underneath will slip underneath the factory roof rack. It is kind of the tight fit, but does work. And then, we'll just take the caps off and put the straps into the other side of the foot pack and we'll go ahead and tighten it down.
We'll take a few seconds to make sure it's centered left to right as well. We'll go ahead and move on to the second rail, it will attach the same way as the first one. We'll take a measurement of the first rail, so I make sure our rails are square. Okay. With few easy steps our factory roof rack has been upgraded with Thule Aero Bars, for entering one of top of it.
All right. One last note about with roof racks is that measurement from the top of the factory roof rack to top of AeroBaldes is approximately 2-3/4" to the height. I now finish for a review of the Thule Roof Rack System with the Thule AeroBlades and the Thule Rapid CrossRoad Foot Pack on a 2011 Jeep Patriot.
