Today we have with us the 2012 Ford Focus and we're going to be test fitting the Thule Raceway 2 trunk-mount carrier, part number TH9001. To fit the Raceway to our vehicle, we need to make sure that fit dial is set at number 7. Once we've done that, we can set the trunk mount rack up on top of our vehicle. The upper arm of our carrier will rest on our trunk and the lower arm of our carrier should be positioned on the upper tier of our rear bumper. We'll place the hooks on the top at the trunk gap right by the rear windshield. Then we'll take the other two hooks and hook them to the bottom of the trunk lid.
With our hooks in place, we can use the dials or knobs on the end of the rack to tighten down the cables. With the cables tightened down, our bike rack is installed and we're ready to load up a bike. We'll fit our bicycle over the arm of the bike rack and into the cradles. We'll use the rubber straps at the cradles to secure the bike to our carrier. With that done, our bike is all loaded up and we're ready to hit the road.
That does it for our test fit of the Thule Raceway 2 trunk-mounted bike carrier, part number TH9001, on a 2012 Ford Focus.
