


Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, well be test fitting part TH934XTR, the Thule Hitching Post Pro. And our vehicle is equipped with the 1 -in hitch. So that with our bike rack assembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike is secured to the vehicle and this is what it would look like. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements.
Our ground clearance is at the bike rack is 9 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 12 inches. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the mast to tilt our bike rack down and open the trunk. And as you can see, we can gain full access to the cargo area with this bike rack. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the top of the mast to bring the dual arms out where we can then open up the straps exposing our cradles. Next well put the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around securing it to the bike rack.

Today on our 2007 Toyota Camry well be test fitting part number Y02451. This is the Yakima DoubleDown 4 Bike Carrier. Now to begin our test fit, well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch after removing the 2-inch adaptor. Well then install the attached hitch pin where we can then move to the back of the shank and tighten the knob securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now pull the handle here at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We can then open our deck lid.

We'll now go ahead and pull the hitch switch at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down.

Now we've already gone ahead and removed the 2" adapter from our bike rack shank,so we'll go ahead and slide the bike rack shank into the hitch. We'll make sure to pullthe integrated locking hitch pin and allow it to move over our hitch. We'll then allowit to fall into the hitch pin hole where we can move to the back of the shank andtighten the knob down, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Now, our ground clearance atthe bike rack is 9-1/2", and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of thevehicle is 2-1/2".
