Today on our 2012 Honda Civic well be test fitting part #: TH934XTR, this is the Thule Hitching Post Pro folding and tilting four bike carrier for both inch and a quarter and 2 inch hitches. A quick note on this bike rack is it will work for class 1, class 2 or class 3 hitches, however when using in a class one hitch youre limited to two bikes. To begin our test fit well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt tight our bike racks secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack was 13 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 6 inches.
Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the bike rack mast to tilt the mast down. We can then open our trunk. And as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area with this bike rack. Well now go ahead and pull the pin on the top of the bike rack mast to bring out our dual arms where we can then undo the straps, exposing our cradles. Well place the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around, securing it to the bike rack.
And there you have it, our bike is loaded and were ready to hit the road. And that completes our test fit of the Thule Hitching Post Pro part #: TH934XTR on our 2012 Honda Civic.
