Okay A few things to know about this bicycle rack, that it will work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches both class one and class two. However, with a class one receiver hitch, you should only carry just two bikes. This will also work with two inch receiver hitch with the included spacer. And on this particular test fit, we'll be working with a class one receiver hitch. We'll start of our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch then we'll go ahead and tighten down the anti rattle bolt, okay Now we'll go ahead and get some clearance measurements.
From the bike rack to the bumper, it's going to be five inches of clearance. Ground clearance is going to be 10 and half inches. Now we'll go ahead and tilt bike rack back and check access to the trunk. Okay, it looks good. Now we'll go ahead and unfold the bike rack so we can load up the bike.
All right, before we load our bike up we'll make sure the straps are out of the way for the we're going to use and let the anti sway part of the cradles is rotated towards the center. When we load up our bike, we'll go ahead and bounce it on the cradles and then swing the anti sway part of the cradle down to the C tube of the bike. We'll strap that down first, then we'll go ahead and run the straps over the top tube. All right And that's all it takes to load up the bike. And with that, that'll finish it for our test fit of part number TH934XTR from Thule on our 2011 Chevrolet Aveo..
