Well line up this hitch pinholes and then well go ahead and install our safety pin. Now that it is keyed, we can install it and then give it a turn and then well pull the hitch back just a little to have a little bit of a bind and then well go ahead and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt.Ok, with the bike rack installed, lets go ahead and get some clearance measurements. Now the closest point to the bike rack and the bumper is gonna be 3 inches. Ground clearance is gonna be 7 inches.Alright, with the bike rack folded up, well go ahead and check access to the trunk.
That looks good. Now well tilt back the bike rack to show how much more room we gained.Okay, now lets go ahead and unfold the arms and load up the bike. When we load up the bike, well make sure that the cradles that we used had the straps out of the way and that the anti-sway part of the cradles is rotated towards the center. It makes it a bit easier to load up the bike. When we load up the bike, well balance it out and swing the anti-sway part of the cradle down to the seat tube.
