Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2012 Honda Civic

Review of the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier on a 2012 Honda Civic

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid, we'll be test fitting part number TH92725, the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier. To begin our install, we'll place the front carrier directly on top of the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps underneath the crossbar and secure them back to the carrier. We can then tighten it down using the wing nuts on the mounts. And now that our front carrier is installed, we can move to the rear carrier. We'll repeat the same mounting procedure, although we do want to make sure that the rear carrier is lined up with the front carrier to make it easier to load our skis and snowboards.

And now that our rear carrier is secured to the vehicle, we're ready to go ahead and load our skis and snowboards. We'll need only to open up the carriers. We'll slide in our snowboards and skis, clamp down the carriers and secure our skis and snowboards to the vehicle, and we're ready to head for the slopes. And one quick measurement, this carrier does provide 6-3/4 inches of room between the skis or snowboards in the roof of your vehicle to allow for your boots. And that completes our test of the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number TH92725, on our 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid..
