Today on our 2008 Toyota RAV4, were going to do a test fit of the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard carrier, part number TH92725. Our RAV4 already has a factory roof rack system, so were going to mount our Flat Top directly to the manufacturers crossbars. Well take the first half of the carrier and set it up on top of our front crossbar. Well feed the speed link straps around the crossbar, re-secure them to the heads, and use the hand knobs to tighten them down. Once we have the front half secure, well grab the second half and place it up on top of our rear bar. We just want to make sure that the rear half of the carrier lines up nicely with the front half and well use the same tightening procedure with the straps on the rear half.
With our carrier secure, we can go ahead and load up. Well use the gray buttons on the end of the carriers to open them up. Well slid our snowboards and skis into place and secure them by closing the lid. With that, were all loaded up and were ready to hit the road. Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2003 Toyota RAV4
Today we have with us a 2003 Toyota RAV4 and were going to be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snowboard carrier, part number TH92725. Our RAV4s already equipped with a full factory roof rack, so were ready to go ahead and mount our accessories. Well take the first half of the Flattop Ski and Snowboard carrier and set it on top of our front bar. Well feed the speed link straps around the bar secure them back to the clamping head and tighten them down with the wing nuts. Once weve got the wing nuts secured, well take the second half of our carrier, fit it over the rear bar, and make sure its lined up with the front. Again, well tighten it down the same way we did the front.
