Alright, today on this 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, we're going to do a test fit of product number TH513 from Thule. This is the Domestique Bicycle Rack. Now, the car has already been outfitted with a Thule Roof Rack System with the square bars. We're also going to start our bike rack assembled according to instructions. So we can go straight to mounting the bicycle rack to the crossbars. We'll start off by taking the front clamp, put in the crossbar, then we'll slide our second clamp in position and around the second crossbar.
We'll get the hardware started into the clamps, but not tight enough, we can't move it around. Take a moment to place our rack in the position that you like and then square it to the vehicle, and we'll go ahead and tighten everything down. Now, we can go ahead and install this, secure, and we'll be finished. Now, our bike rack is installed, let's go ahead and load up the bike. Before we load our bike up, we'll make sure the secure is open and that the strap for the rear wheel is out of the way as well.
We'll load our bike up onto the fork mount and then we'll slide our rear wheel into the back half of the bike rack. Ok, after the fork is clamped down, we'll go ahead and run the strap over the back wheel. And with those few easy steps, our bike is ready for transport, and there you have it, product number TH513 from Thule, Domestique Bicycle Carrier.
