Review of Swagman XTC2 Wheel Mount Hitch Bike Rack on a 2011 Chrysler 200


All right, today on our Chrysler 200 we're going to do a test fit of part number S64670 from Swagman. This is the XTC-2 bike carrier. A few things to know about this bicycle rack that it will work on 1-1/4" receiver hitches both class I and class II and it is also work for 2" receiver hitch with the provided spacer. Okay, we'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, we'll tighten it down the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. All right, now go ahead and get a few clearance measurements. For the bumper to the bike rack we'll looking at 5".

Ground clearance is going to be 8-1/4". Ground clearance on the very back of the bike rack will be 12-1/2".Now, let's go ahead and unfold the bike rack and we'll show access to the trunk. Now, go ahead and load up the bike. First thing we do, we'll make sure the straps for the wheel tubes are out of the way and that the clamps where the center post around to the very top. When we load up our bike, put the wheels into wheel loops and then we'll tilt it far little bit so you bring the clamp up over seat and on to the top tube.

We'll clamp it down and then make sure the pins are in place at the bottom of the post.Now, go ahead and run the straps to the wheels. Okay, with that that will finish it for a test fit of part number S64670 from Swagman XTC-2 bicycle carrier on our 2011 Chrysler 200.

Today on this 2012 Chrysler 200, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH197XTR from Thule, the T2 Platform Style Bicycle Rack. A couple of things to know about this rack that it will work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches, both class one and class two. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, then we'll go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and install the lock on the other side. Okay, with the bike rack installed, let's go ahead and get a couple of clearance measurements. From the bike rack to the bumper, clearance is going to be three eights of an inch. Ground clearance is going to be 10 1/4 inches.

All right today on this 2012 Chrysler 200, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH990XT from Thule, this is a Double Track Platform Bicycle Rack. Okay, a few points to know about this bicycle rack that it will work inch and a quarter receiver hitches both class one and class two. This will also work with two-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. On this vehicle, we'll be working with a class one receiver hitch. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, then we'll tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and then install the lock on the other side. Okay, with the bike rack installed, let's go ahead and get some clearance measurements.



Thule Apex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chrysler 200

Today on our 2012 Chrysler 200, we'll test fitting the Thule Apex Four-Bike Carrier, part number TH9025. Now our vehicle's equipped with an inch and a quarter hitch, so we remove the adaptor sleeve from our bike rack shank. Please note that when using in a class one hitch, you are limited to two bikes with this bike rack. Now to begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and using the integrated locking hitch pin, we'll allow to slide into place. With it in place, we'll simply tighten down the anti-rattle knob here on the side of the shank. With that, our bike rack's secured to the vehicle and we're ready to load it up.

Today on our 2012 Chrysler 200, we'll test fitting the Swagman XTC2, part number S64670. Now to begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. We can now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 13 1/2 inches and from the closest point of the bike the back of the vehicle is four and a quarter inches. Now we'll go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our trunk.



Kuat Alpha Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chrysler 200

Today on our 2012 Chrysler 200 well be test fitting the Kuat alpha folding locking 3 bike aluminum bike rack for inch and a quarter hitches. To begin our test fit well simply slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install out hitch pin. We can then move to the back of the bike rack and tighten down the anti-rattle knob. This will secure your bike rack to your vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 10 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack mast to the bumper is 6 inches.



Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chrysler 200

Today on this 2012 Chrysler 200 were going to do a test fit of part #: S63410 from Swagman, the Titan 4 bicycle rack. Some things you need to know about this bicycle rack that that it will work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2, however when you use this bicycle rack on a class 1 receiver hitch youre limited to carrying just 2 bicycles. Now this will also work with 2 inch receiver hitches with the included spacer and on this vehicle today well be working with a class 1 receiver hitch. Now well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, then well go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety clip on the other side. Alright, with the bike rack installed well go ahead and get some clearance measurements. From the bike rack to the bumper at its closest point is 7 inches.
