Alright today on this 2011 Chevrolet HHR we're going to do a test fit of part no. S64670 from Swagman. This is the XTC2 bike rack. Quick note about this bike rack, this will work with an inch and 1/4 receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2. This will also work with class 3 receiver hitch with the provided spacer. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch.
We'll tighten down teh anti-retal bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. Alright, next we'll give you some measurements that will give you an idea of clearance between the bike rack and the vehicle and ground clearance as well. At the closest point between the bumper and the bicycle rack it's going to be 3 inches. At it's lowest point, the bike rack is 9 and 1/4 inches off the ground and the very end, it's going to be 12 inches. Alright, now we'll go ahead and install the bike rack and we'll go ahead and check for access to the back of the vehicle.
And that shows access to the back of the vehicle. Okay at this point we'll go ahead and load up a bike. We'll go ahead and make sure the straps are out of the way for the wheels and we'll make sure that the clamps are running to the top of the post. When we load up our bike, we'll put the wheels into the wheel hoops and tilt the bike forward a little bit so we have the clearance to run the clamp over the top tube. Okay, once we have the bike clamp down make sure the pin is back in place at the bottom of the post.
Then we can go ahead and move on to the wheel straps. Okay and that is the few steps that it takes to load up a bike. And with that, that will finish it for a test fit of part no. S64670 from Swagman, the XTC2 bike rack on a 2011 Chevrolet HHR.

One quick not about this bike carrier is that it will work with 1-1/4 receiver hitches class one and class two. We will be using a class one hitch today, and this will also work with 2 receiver hitches with the included bushing. Well start off by installing the hitch into the bicycle rack, putting the pin into the hitch hole. Its keyed so insert it and turn it 90 degrees, and then we will pull back a little bit and tighten down the anti-rattle lock.

In this application, we'll be using the class 1 hitch. We'll start off by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then tighten down the anti-rattle bolt, and then put in the safety clip on the other side. We'll also be using a 3 and quarter-inch wrench to tighten it down.
