Review of the Swagman XTC2 Wheel Mount Hitch Bike Rack on a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, well be test fitting part number S64670, the Swagman XTC2. Now to begin our test fit, well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance to the back of the bike rack 13 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 3 inches. Now we can go ahead and unfold the platform to check for cargo access.

As you can see, we can get full cargo access with this bike rack. Were not almost ready to load our bike. Well need only to undo the wheel loop straps and make sure that the vertical bar clamps are extended fully. We can then place the bike into the wheel loops and bring the vertical bar up remembering to reinstall the key to keep the bar in to its vertical position. At which part, we can bring the clamp down to carrying it to the bike rack.

Well then move back down to the wheels where well put the straps through and secure them on the other side of the wheel loop. And that does it. Our bike is loaded and were ready to hit the road. And that completes our test fit of part number S64670 the Swagman XTC2 on our 2011 Chevrolet Aveo.
