Review of the Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2003 Honda CR-V

Today in the studio, we have a 2003 Honda CR-V and we'll be test fitting Surco's 24-inch by 60-inch cargo carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number 52018. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes and then secure it with a pin and clip. With the carrier mounted to the vehicle, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We've got about 13 inches of ground clearance at the back of the cargo carrier. Our spare tire overhangs our cargo rail just a little bit and weve got about 7 inches of clearance from the tail pipe to the closest part of the cargo carrier.

Overall, we've added about 24 inches of length to the rear of the vehicle. And that's it for our test fit of Surco's 24-inch by 60-inch cargo carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number 52018 on our 2003 Honda CR-V.
