Between the rack and the bumper at its closest point will be 7-1/2 inches, and the lowest point to the hitch on the ground will be 12 inches. On the back of the rack that will be 16-3/4 inches. Next we will go ahead and lower our center mast out of the way, and we can check to access to the back of the vehicle. That looks good, you only want to do this with the bikes off the rack. At this point let inchess go ahead and load up a bike we will go ahead and loosen up the wheel straps and then go ahead and load up the bike.
Put the bike in the wheel wells, get the pedals out of the way, we will raise up the mast, we will loosen up the clamp and then slide it onto the top tube. We will put our pin back into the mast, and then we will go ahead and tighten up te clamp, and then we will do our wheel straps.
