SportRack Aero Roof Cargo Box Installation - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

content loading

Installation of the SportRack Aero Roof Cargo Box on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today on this 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee were going to do a test fit of part #: a90275 from sport rack. This is the aero XL cargo box. Now our Jeep has already been equipped with a Thule roof rack system using the aero blade bars. All we got to do for our test fit is take our cargo box and place it on top of the roof rack. When we put our cargo box on top of the roof rack we can center it up in the middle of the vehicle or we can pull it to one side or the other in case you wanted to add another accessory such as a bicycle rack. In this case were going to keep it in the center.

Alright, now well go ahead and install the hardware. When we install the hardware theres two plates. The bigger of the two plates will go between the roof rack and the cargo carrier and the smaller of the two plates will go inside the cargo carrier. Its basically a U-bolt that attaches the cargo carrier to the roof rack. Alright, once all the hardwares tightened were ready to go.

All we got to do is load it up and then close the hatch. And with that were finished with our test fit of part #: a90275 from sport rack, the aero XL cargo carrier on our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
