On this 2003 Ford F250, we're going to be installing the snap lock tie downs part # SLB25. To install this tie downs, we'll also use the hardware kit part # SLHZ. The first thing we need to do is position our snap locks on the bed of our truck. We'll take a paint marker and use it to mark our drill holes. Once we have our snap locks marked out, we'll go ahead and take a drill and drill out our holes. We also want to make sure that on the underside of the bed, we're not going to drill under anything like fuel lines or electrical systems.
With our holes drilled, we can start to feed in our hardware. We'll drop the bolt through the top and on the bottom of our bed we'll use the washer and nylon lock nut. You probably need somebody to be on the underside of the bed to hold the nut with a wrench while you tighten the bolt from above.
