Alright today on this 2012 GMC Yukon, were going to a test fit of the Rola roof rack cargo basket part number 59504. A couple of notes about this, it has a black power coat finish to it and it will work with factory roof cross members but it has to be less than 3 and inches wide. One this particular test fit well be using 30 inches. Now you definitely want an extra set of hands to help put it up there on top of factory crossbars. Once you have it on the factory crossbars, take a few minutes to make sure its centered properly front to rear and left to right. Now well go ahead and install the mounting hardware, to install it there will be a clamp that goes over the top and basically a U bolt on the bottom.

Alright today on this 2012 GMC Yukon, were going to do a test fit of part number TH690 from Thule, this is their Moab Roof Top Cargo Carrier. It does come with a custom fairing that reduces wind resistance and also makes for a quieter ride. It includes two integrated adjustable Thule load bars that can be used for bikes, skis, or water sport carriers also. The amount of hardware is designed for quick on and quick off installation to the vehicle. In this case we will be using the 28 centers, so lets go ahead and install on the vehicle, and get a good idea how it looks. You will also need an extra set of hands to help you install on top of the factory roof rack.
