Today on our 2003 Honda CRV well be test fitting the Rola 23x56 Railed Cargo Carrier, part number 59502. To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch and line up the hitch pin holes then well secure the carrier with a pin and clip. With that our carrier is all mounted and we can go over some clearance measurements. Weve got about 17 inches of ground clearance with the back of the cargo carrier. Weve got about 4-1/2 inches of clearance between our spare tire and our cargo carrier, and from the right hand corner of the cargo basket to our tailpipe measures about 14 inches. Just keep this in mind when loading your cargo carrier.
