Today on our 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan well be test fitting the RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY0438. We already have our bike carrier assembled so now were ready to mount it up on the vehicle. Well set the carrier up on top of our crossbars. Well fit the front clamp around our front load bar and well use the included Allen key to tighten it down. At the rear crossbar well fit the plastic clip over our bar. Well feed the bolt down through and use the included wing nut to tighten it down.
Once weve done all that we can reinsert our skewer and put our cover back into place. Now were ready to load up our bike. Well make sure that the rear wheel strap is open and the front skewers also unlocked. Well place the bike up in the wheel tray and fit the front forks down into the skewer. Well secure the bike by the front skewer first and then well move back to the rear of the bike and use the wheel strap to secure the rear tire.

Today we have with us a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan and were going to be test fitting the Yakima Frontloader roof mounted bike carrier part number Y02103. Weve already got our carrier assembled and now were ready to mount it up on the vehicle. First well place our carrier up on top of our crossbars. Well fit the front head clamp over our front crossbars and use the hand knob to tighten it down. Well slide the clamp in the back over our rear crossbar and use the wing nut and T-bolt to tighten it down. With that, our bike rack is secured to our roof rack and now were ready to prep for our bike.
