Today on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts Euro PitchFork, part number RKY1103. This bike rack is designed to use the channel within the load bar, so we'll go ahead and remove the rubber channel cover from the front crossbar. And with the channel cover removed from the front crossbar we'll slide the square nut into the channel at the head of the bike rack. We can then bring the rear mounting point to the rear crossbar bringing the clamp underneath the rear crossbar and securing it with the wing nut. We'll then go back to the head of the bike rack and tighten down the Allen bolts which will secure the bike rack to our roof rack. Now that our roof rack is secured to the vehicle we're ready to go ahead and load our bike.
With the front wheel off of our bike we'll first need to make sure that our rear wheel strap is released and out of the way. Now we'll set up our front fork into the skewer bring the rear wheel up and set on to the bike rack. We can then tighten down the skewer, and with the front fork tight we'll bring the strap back through and secure the wheel to the bike rack. And just like that our bike is loaded and we're ready to hit the road. RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan
Today on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, well be test fitting the RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Mounted Bike Rack part number RKY0438. Our vehicle is equipped with the Thule traverse roof rack system and our bike rack is already preassembled so were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well begin by setting the bike rack on top of the load bars, we'll then move on to the rear mounting location. The RockyMounts roof rack rear securing point will wrap around either a round load bar or if you remove the plastic insert will cleanly wrap around the square load bar. We'll wrap around the rear load bar and bring the carriage bolt for the rear mounting point through tighten it down with the wing knot.We can then move back to the front load bar where we'll use the clamp included with the roof rack to clamp underneath the front load bar and secure with the two Allen bolts also included with the roof rack. And with the head of the roof rack secured to the front load bar will then install the cutter cover we can then install our front fork skewer.

Today on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number RKY1014. Now, our vehicle is equipped with the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System and our bike rack is preassembled so we are ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll start by setting the head of the bike rack on the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps around and underneath the crossbar and secure it back to the head of the bike rack. We can then move the rear mounting point over the rear crossbar. We'll bring the rear clamp underneath and tighten it down with the wing nuts.
