Today on this 2012 Chevrolet Colorado we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts Pitch Fork Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY0438. We've already got our carrier assembled according to the instructions and now we're ready to fit it up on top of our roof rack. To mount the bike carrier we'll set it up on top of our crossbars. We'll fit the front clamp around our front crossbar and use the included Allen wrench to tighten it down. In the rear, we'll fit the black clamp around our rear crossbar and use the wing nut to tighten it down. Once we have the bike rack secured, we can reinstall our skewer and head cover and then we'll move to the back and undo our wheel strap.
We'll fit the rear tire of our bike into the tray of the carrier. We'll drop the front fork down into the skewer and secure the bike using the skewer. We'll move back to the rear of the vehicle and use the wheel strap to secure the rear wheel. With that our bike is all loaded up and we're ready to get on the road. That does it for our test fit of RockyMounts Pitch Fork Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY0438 on our 2012 Chevrolet Colorado..
