Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the Rhode Gear Highway 2 Bike Carrier, part number RG8015220. Now, our bike rack is already pre-assembled and our vehicle has an 1-1/4-inch hitch, so we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll insert the bike rack shank into the hitch. We'll line up the hitch pinhole and insert our anti-rattle bolt. We'll then tighten it down with a wrench. With the anti-rattle bolt tight, we can install our safety pin on the other side and that will secure our bike rack to the vehicle.
With our bike rack secured, we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements, and our ground clearance is 10 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 5 inches. We'll now go ahead and show cargo access. We'll fold the bike rack down and open our deckled. We'll now go ahead and prepare the bike rack to load the bike. What we'll need to do is to undo the hook and loop straps exposing the cradles.
We'll then set the bike into the cradles and bring the hook and loop strap back through, securing it to the bike rack. And with our bike secured to the bike rack, we're ready to hit the road. And that will do it for our Rhode Gear Highway 2, part number RG8015220, on our 2011 Toyota Camry.
