Today on our 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe we'll be test fitting the Rhode Gear Highway 2 Bike Carrier, part number RG8015220. To begin our test fit we'll simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch using the included adaptor, we'll line up the hitch pin hole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight this will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the rack is 10 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack mast to the back of the vehicle is 7 inches. Now we'll go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the mast to tilt the bike rack down and open our cargo door.
As you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area with this bike rack. Now we'll go ahead and undo the cradle straps exposing our cradles. We can then load the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around securing our bike to the bike rack. And that will do it. Our bike is loaded and we're ready to hit the road.
And that completes our test fit of the Rhode Gear Highway 2 Bike Carrier, part number RG8015220 on our 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe.
