Chevrolet Silverado Roof Rack

Installation of a Rhino Rack Roof Rack on a 2010 Chevy Silverado

Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Silverado we are going to install a roof rack from Rhino Rack. We will be using these part numbers: DA1375, the roof rack itself, and the pad and clamp kit part number DK227. This is their heavy duty version of their roof rack. Alright, we measured out the lengths to the dimensions as described in the instructions. The distance on the front one will be 43-21/32 inches. And the rear measurement came out to 42-31/64. We have the roof rack set up. Let us go ahead and start installing the first one. We will work with the one that goes towards the front of the vehicle. Measure from the center of the door jamb to the center of the crossbar. We are going to measure out 9-27/32. 0:44

Once we get our first rail installed, we will go ahead and measure from the center of that one to the back rail. And that measurement will be 31-1/2 inches. Then you can go ahead and tighten them down. Using the included tool that comes with the roof rack, we will just snug them down on both sides. Once we have the Rhino Rack installed, we will go ahead and put the covers on the legs and lock them down into place. Alright, with a few easy steps, our Rhino Rack is already installed on the vehicle and ready for service. And there you have it for part number DA1375 and the pad and clamp kit part number DK227.
