Today on this 2010 Toyota Camry we're going to install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack. Product number DA118 for the crossbars and DK114 for the clamp kit. For our quick test fit we went ahead and assembled the crossbars as described in the instructions and we'll just place them on the vehicle and see how it looks. We'll start off with the front crossbar. Let's lay it on the roof and we'll move it into its final position. To place the front rail we're going to measure from the center of the rail over to the center of the door jamb.
Now always refer to your instructions when installing. However, in this case the measurement is going to be 11,13/16" of an inch. Once the crossbar is in position let's go ahead and make sure it's correct from going to left to right and it's even on the roof. Now let's go ahead and move on to our second crossbar and we'll basically repeat the same process as before. To place the second crossbar we'll be measuring from the center to center of both bars.
And this measurement will be 25,23/64" of an inch. Ok, once we have them positioned let's go ahead and install the clamps on to the car. We'll leave them loose for now and then we'll take up the slack evenly in both sides. After that, we can go ahead and tighten them down for good, again, alternating back and forth. Now we can install our locking covers.
And with that we're done with the test fit of a Rhino Rack on our 2010 Toyota Camry.
