Today on our 2012 Chevy Silverado were going to install the Putco element in channel window visor part #: p580056. This set comes with 4 window visors, one for each door. Well start here with the drivers front. The drivers front visor will mostly sit inside the window channel starting from the rear working your way forward and then its getting front flange thats going to go in between the outside weather stripping and the mirror, will sit just like this once its installed. Now lets go ahead and pull it back out, well remove the side of the 2 way adhesive and go ahead and put it in place permanently. Again, well be putting a 2 way adhesive up into the window channel, as we work our way forward well get the flange started in between the outside weather stripping and the mirror.
Once we get it in place well go ahead and press it in firmly, then we can open the door, work the window up and down to fully see our window visor. Next lets go ahead and do the drivers side rear. Were installing the rear window visor, its actually just a little bit easier than the front, as you can see its just going to sit inside the window channel. So lets go ahead and remove the 2 way adhesive, put it in place and then well use the window to assist us in sealing it permanently. That will complete the install of the drivers side rear window visor.
Again, well repeat the same process on the passenger side. Now, with all four window visors installed that will complete the installation of our Putco Element in channel window visors part #: p580056 on our 2012 Chevy Silverado.
