

Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting part number PS63134; this is the Pro Series Q-Slot Platform Style 2 Bike Carrier for both 1-1/4 and 2 hitches. Now with our 2 adaptor installed on our shank well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. We can then install the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the back of the bike rack is 16-1/2 and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 7. Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and check for cargo access and as you can see we can gain cargo access opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. Were now almost ready to load our bike, well only need to make sure our wheel loop straps our undone and out of the way and that our vertical bar clamp is fully extended.
Well place the bike into the wheel loops and bring our vertical bar up remembering to reinstall the pin holding the bar in place. We can then bring the clamp down over the top bar of our bike securing our bike to the bike rack. Well move back down to the wheel loops where well put the strap through the wheel and secure it on the other side and with that our bike is loaded and were ready to head on down the road and that completes our test fit of our Pro Series Q-Slot Platform Style 2 bike carrier, part number PS63134 on our 2013 Kia Sorento.
Yakima StickUp 2 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2012 KIA Sorento, we'll be test fitting the Yakima StickUp Platform Style 2-Bike Carrier, part number Y02420. To begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, throw on our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. Now with our Yakima StickUp secured to our KIA Sorento, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. With the platform folded up, we have about 12 inches of ground clearance to the rear of the carrier. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 2 inches. We've added about 8-1/2 inches to the overall length of our Sorento.
Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2012 KIA sorento, we'll be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero Hitch-Mounted 2-Bike Carrier, part number TH9042. To begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, allowing the spring loaded integrated hitch pin to fall into place, and we'll then turn the black knob to engage the anti-rattle device, securing our Thule Helium Aero to our KIA Sorento. We'll now go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 15 inches of ground clearance to the rear of the carrier. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 6 inches. We've added about 16-1/2 inches to the overall length of the vehicle.
SportRack Super EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2012 KIA Sorento, we'll be test fitting the SportRack Super EZ Platform Style 2-Bike Carrier, part number SR2901LR. To begin out test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, throw on our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and secure the lock on the other side. We can then tighten with a wrench to secure the bike rack to the vehicle. Now that our SportRack Super EZ is secured to our KIA Sorento, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 13-1/2 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 8 inches.
Softride Dura Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2012 KIA Sorento, we'll be test fitting the Softride Dura Parallelogram Tilting Forward Bike Carrier, part number SR26247. To begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, throw on our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. Now with our Softride Dura Parallelogram secured to our KIA Sorento, we're ready to go over some clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 11 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 2 inches. Edge of the top of the mast to the rear cargo door is about 2 inches, as well.

Now with our ProRack bike carrier secured to our KIA Sorento, we'll go over a few clearance measurement to see how the two fit together. We have about 15 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 5 inches. We've added about 21 inches to the overall length of the vehicle.
