Alright, today on this 2006 Toyota Prius were going to do a test fit of Pro Series, part number PS63134. Two things to know about this bike rack is that it will work with 1-1/4 inch receiver hitches both Class I and Class II and when also with the provided spacer this will work with 2-inch receiver hitches also. On this vehicle well be running with a Class I hitch. Well start of our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then installing the hitch pin and clip. Ok, well go ahead and unfold our bike rack, again, a couple of clearance measurements. Alright, it looks like at its closest point from the bike rack to the bumper its going to be 11 inches, ground clearance at the very back of the rack will look like 13-3/4 inches.
Now well go ahead and tilt the center post out of the way and check the access to the back of the vehicle. Ok, that looks alright. Now well go ahead and load up a bike. The first thing we do well make sure the straps are out of the way for the wheel loops that were going to use and that the clamps on the center post are ran up to the very top. Ok, when we load up our bike well go ahead and put the wheels into the wheel loops, well bring the center post up and bring the clamp down unto the top tube.
And then well make sure that it pins at the bottom of the post then we go ahead tighten down the clamp and then run the straps through the wheels. Ok, and thats all the steps that are needed to load up a bike. Alright, and thatll finish it for our test fit of the Pro Series Q Slot, part number PS63134 on our 2006 Toyota Prius.
