Today on this 2003 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series 24-inch by 60-inch Railed Cargo Carrier, part number 63153. To mount the carrier to our vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes and secure the carrier with a pin and clip. Next, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We've got about 17 inches of ground clearance at the back of the carrier. We've got about 5 inches of clearance between the spare tire and our carrier.
We also have 15 inches of clearance between the exhaust pipe in the right hand corner of our carrier. Just keep that in mind when loading the carrier so that you dont expose anything to too much heat. And that does it for our test fit of the Pro Series 24-inch by 60-inch Railed Cargo Carrier, part number 63153 on our 2003 Honda CR-V.
