Review of the Kuat NV 4 Hitch Mounted Bike Rack on a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country

Today on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, we will be test fitting the Kuat NV part number N101-103.With our vehicle already equipped with the 2-inch hitch and our bike rack already preassembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle.Well begin by placing the bike rack into the hitch, line up the hitch pin and install our pin. Once the pin is installed, well go ahead and put the safety clip pin. Now that our hitch pin is in, well go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle device using the knob on the back of the bike rack. With our anti-rattle device now secured, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. With the bike rack in the stored position, well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements. From the bottom of the bike rack to the floor is 10 inches. From the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 1 inches. What were gonna do now is to actually unfold the bike rack into its horizontal position, well then gain access to the cargo area.

As you can see, we do have access to the rear cargo area. With the bike now in its horizontal position, we are no ready to load the bike. Well begin by unfolding the top bar clamp into a forward position then loosening up the rear tire strap. Well start by putting the bike into the bike rack, bringing the top clamp up to the top of the front tire and securing it to the bike rack. Well now go ahead and set the rear tire strap. And with those few easy steps, our bike is loaded and were ready to go.And that completes our test fit of the Kuat NV 4-Bike Hitch Mounted Bike Rack part number n101-103 on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country..
