Alright, with the bike rack installed onto the hitch, well give you some measurements that will give you an idea of clearance between the bike rack and the car, and ground clearance. Clearance between the bike rack and the car is going to be 7 inches.
Ground clearance on its lowest point is going to be 7 inches. Now well go ahead and tilt the bike rack down, and give you one more measurement at the very end of the bike rack. Ground clearance at the very bottom will be 20 inches.Now Ill go and show access to the back of the car. Alright, that looks good. At this point, we can go ahead and load up a bike.
First thing well do, well go ahead and unfold the arm that holds the bike down and well also make sure that the strap is out of the way for the rear wheel.Okay, when we load up our bike up, were going to put the front wheel into the wheel hoop, bring the clamp up and over and on top of the front wheel as close to the brake as possible. Then well go ahead and run our strap through the back wheel. Okay, those few steps is all it takes to hold the bike in place. Now, also with this bike rack, we can now take it and tilt it one more time away from the vehicle and well go ahead and check access to the back of the car one more time.
