Then, well install the locking hitch pin. Then, well go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle knob. Then, well go ahead and unfold the bike rack and get a couple of clearance measurements.Ground clearance is going to be 14 inches. Now well go ahead and check for access to the back of the vehicle.
All right, that looks good. Now we can go ahead and load up a bike. First thing we want to make sure the clamp for the front wheel is pulled up and extended out and that the straps for the back wheel is loosened up. Well go ahead and load our bike into place. Our front wheel will go into the wheel loop.
Well go ahead and bring the clamp up and down to the front wheel as close to the fork as possible. And then, well go ahead and run our strap through the back wheel. Thats all it takes to load up a bike. We have our bike loaded up. We can activity take the bike rack and tilt it away from the vehicle a little bit more and well go ahead and check for access to the back of the vehicle.
