All right today on this 2002 Toyota Tundra, we're going to do a test fit of part number PWH2328SLC from Glacier Chains. We'll be working with a tire size of 265/70-R16. We'll start off our test fit by draping the chains over the tire. We'll take one end of the chain and run it down to the edge of the front of the tire, and then we'll go ahead and center the chain over a tire and going towards the back, we'll stretch it out as needed. We'll also make sure that the cam tensioners that are built into the chain are in their open position. And it's a good idea to check that before we install the chain.
When we install the chain on the tire, we'll make sure that the hooks on the cross links face to the outside, away from the tire tread. One thing you definitely want to check on is with your owner's manual to see if there is any limitations on the type of chains that you can use on your vehicle. And on this particular vehicle, we'll be working with the rear axle. Okay, with the chain draped over the tires, we'll drive it forward just a little bit to make it easier to get to the connections. We'll start with the inside of the chain first.
We'll go ahead and run our hook through the chain, and we can also use it to store extra chain links as needed to take up the tension. Now, we can go to the outside of the chain. Okay, we'll take up a slack and tread it through one of the loops on the outside of the chain, and then bring it back towards itself. It will rotate about 180 degrees and then there's a keeper link that's off to the side, we'll go ahead and hook it into that. All right, now with the chain completely in place we can go ahead and tighten down the chain with the tensioners.
We'll take the provided tool, insert into a tensioner and twist it. And again, this will go by 180 degrees. We'll roll all around the tire and get them all and that will tension up the chain. And with that, that will finish it for our test fit of part number PWH2328SLC from Glacier Chains on our 2002 Toyota Tundra.

And on this particular test fit, we'll be working with the back axle. We'll go ahead and start off our test fit by draping the cables over the tire. When you drape the cables over the tire, you want to make sure that the cross number hookup pins face to the outside, away from the tire tread. You also want to double check inaudible 0:00:31.1 to make sure there is not any limitations on what type of change you can use with your vehicle.
