Today on this 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty, we're going to be installing the Edge Performance Products Dash Pod Mount for Edge Tuners, part number EP18300. The first thing we need to do is take our Dash Mount Pod and set it up on top of our dash and figure out where it's going to be placed. Once we have it in position, we'll use some masking tape to tape around it to indicate where we need to reset it when we go to adhere it later. With our mount in position, we'll take some more tape and secure it to our dash temporarily. We'll get the brackets that came with the kit, and make sure that they are angled properly to fit the contours of the pod as well as our dash. We're going to mark the indentations on the inside on the inside of our pod so that we can see them a little bit easier.
We'll just use a bright green paint marker. Next, we'll take our brackets and adhere them to the inside of the pod. Make sure to leave enough space underneath the bottom side of the bracket for our attachment pads later. Once we have the brackets adhere to our pod, we're going to adhere the attachment pieces that came with our kit. Make sure that when you adhere your attachment point, the denser side adheres to the dash.
We're going to use rubbing alcohol to clean our dash, the pod, and the brackets to make sure that everything adhere as well. Now we're ready adhere our pod to our dash. We're going to fit our cable through the cut-out provided in the back of the pod. We'll remove the back ink from the attachment points, place the pod into position, lining up with our masking tape, and secure it to the dash. With that done, we can plug our chord into the back of our tuner and snap our tuner into place in the pod.
And that's it for our installation of the Edge Performance Products Dash Pod for our 2003 Ford Super Duty, part number EP18300.
