Review of the Curt 20x60 Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier on a 2012 Toyota Sequoia

Today on our 2012 Toyota Sequoia, we'll be test-fitting the Curt 20x60 Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier, part number C18100. Now to begin our test-fit, we'll simply slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. Now that our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle, we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. From the closest point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is two and a half inches, and our ground clearance of this cargo carrier is 18 inches. Now, we'll go ahead and pull the pin on the cargo carrier to fold the carrier down. And we'll give you a few more measurements.

With the cargo carrier platform folded down, from the closest point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is 9 inches, and the cargo carrier will add an additional 28 and a half inches of over-all length, to the vehicle. Now the exhaust from this vehicle does exit the passenger rear, so there will be some heat transfer as you're driving down the road. And that completes our test-fit of the Curt 20x60 Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier, part number C18100, on our 2012 Toyota Sequoia.
