Review of the Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2012 Honda CR-V

Alright, today on this 2012 Honda CRV were going to do a test fit of part #: C18145 from Curt, this is our 20x48 inch cargo carrier. One thing to note about this cargo carrier that it can work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches and it will also work with two inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. Well start off our test fit by installing the cargo carrier into the hitch, then well tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and then well install the safety clip on the other side. Now well go ahead and get a few clearance measurements. From the edge of the bumper to the cargo carrier will be 4 inches and the overall length will be 24 inches, and the clearance from the tailpipe to the cargo carrier will be 9 inches. Now since the exhaust of this vehicle does point straight out back towards the cargo carrier be careful of the items you place back there in case theyre heat sensitive.

Now ground clearance is going to be 12 inches. Now well go ahead and check access to the back of the vehicle. Alright, that looks good and with that, that will finish it for our test fit of part #:C18145 from Curt on our 2012 Honda CRV.
