Today, we have a 2012 Ford F-150 and we're going to be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount, part number AMSC2HD. But before we can test fit our ball mount, first we want to measure the hitch height of our truck. To measure the hitch height, we'll measure from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch height measures 18-1/2 inches. To test fit our ball mount or drawbar, we're going to insert the end of the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes and secure the drawbar with the pin.
In the drop position, the ideal trailer coupler height would be 16-3/4 inches and then we'll flip it over and take a measurement of our rise position. In the rise position, the ideal trailer coupler height would be 19-1/2 inches. And that's it for our test fit of the Convert-A-Ball Cushion Ball Mount, part number AMSC2HD on our 2012 Ford F-150.
