

Today on this 2006 Ford F150, we're going to do a test fit of the Cipa towing mirror extensions, part number 11802. We'll be working with the passenger side of the truck. All right, now we'll start with our test fit. We'll take one of the neoprene strips and attach it to one of the wedges that comes with the mirror. With that attached, we can go ahead and slide on the mirror. Then we can go ahead and install the wedge, then we can tighten down the knob.
Okay, you can see how the mirror has an opening for a factory blinker so you can still see those work. With that, that'll finish it for our test fit of part number 11802 from Cipa, on our 2006 Ford F150.

First off, we'll go ahead and show you how the towing mirror slips onto the original mirror. It slides on very easily and you can see how it wraps around the edges going towards the back. It covers up the entire front of the mirror. Lets go ahead and install the rest of our hardware.We'll slide into place and then add the wedge.

Before you select these mirrors you want to make sure that the mirrors on your truck math this style of mirror. They simply fit over the OEM mirror and we're going to sit the hooks on the top and the inside first. Today on this 2013 Ford F-150 were going to do a test fit of part number CTM2300B, from Longview. This is a custom towing mirror. Well start on the passenger side. Well go ahead and take the Longview mirror and go ahead and slip it over the factory mirror. There is a left and a right side and its marked on the inside of the mirror. Well go ahead and take the hook, run it through the hole in the mirror, and then attach the knob about a few threads at the most.

Today, on our 2005 Ford F150, well be installing the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, Slip On, for the drivers side, part number 11801. To install your mirror, you can just slide the mirror over the mirror head insert the wedge between the towing mirror and the mirror head. You then align the threaded hole with the molded cup on the back of the wedge and screw the knob through the raised hole on the back of the towing mirror and tighten it down securely. With that done, your mirror is secured. These mirrors will allow you to manually adjust the mirror face and customize your view. The aerodynamic shape of the mirror helps to prevent vibration and wind noise.
