This install will also cover Draw-Tite part # 24757. The first step involved is gaining access to your vehicle, the second step is we can hang the hitch on the tie down loop in the center of the vehicle. This will hold the hitch up while we get the other bolts in. Go ahead and snug up the bolts, but make sure the hitch can still move about. The reason why I left the hitch loose is so we can move this hitch around so we can get to our mounting hole, which is right here. That we way we can move it around and get our hitch in the right spot and put our bolt in. Again we follow the same principles on the other side, you leave it loose so we can move it around, get a good idea of where its supposed to go and thread your bolt in. Snug the bolts down as tight as you can with your fingers then snug it up with a wrench
Do that on all fasteners and then well come back to torque the bolts down. Now we can tighten down the center U-bolt. When you tighten the bolts down you want to make sure you keep them even on both sides. Once you get the bolts ran as far as they can go, torque down the bolts according to the manufacturers instructions. While youre tightening down the bolts, you might want to get an extra set of hands to push the exhaust out of the way while you torque down the bolts because it is close quarters to work with. That concludes the install of our hitch on the 2007 Hyundai Sonata. Again we used Part # 60816 from Hidden Hitch, this also applies to Draw-Tite part # 24757
