Installation of a Trailer Hitch on a 2007 Hyundai Entourage

This will also apply to Reese part # 44537 and Hidden Hitch part # 70761. The first step that needs to be taken is to pull the exhaust out of the way in this case we tied it off and pulled it to the side. You can also pull off the rubber exhaust hanger and get the same effect. This van has threaded holes already in the frame and well use three of them on each side. While youre here you might want to take a few minutes to clean out the threads to just to make sure everything will thread in okay. At this point we can start installing the hitch. What were going to do on the passenger side is slide the hitch over the exhaust to hold up that side while we put up the drivers side to keep things steady. We pulled our exhaust back out of the way and now well start our first bolt on the passengers

Now that we have the first two bolts holding the hitch in place now we can do the rest of them. The hitch has oblong slots to help you center it left to right. On some vehicles a body components may throw it off so you can center it with the frame or body components. In this case were going to center it with the frame. After you have centered the way you want it, snug down the bolts. The next step is to torque down the bolts according to their specified settings in the instructions. That completes the install of our hitch, part # 75421 from Draw-
