Today we are going to show you part number 87507 on our 2001 Ford Windstar. This also applies for our 75055 from Draw-Tite. Just to show you where the hitch will be installed at on this vehicle here is what is going to happen. We are going to pull a bolt from one end of the frame through this hole here. You will want to do that on both sides before hanging the hitch on these 2 bolts. After we have our hitch installed we will use of these last 2 holes and drill through this trim plate on the bottom of the frame. We will go ahead and start using our pull wire to get the hardware pulled through the bottom of the hitch. First we will slide our plate over the leader. Which that can fall down if it has too. Then you go ahead and install your bolt. When it pulls through you can go ahead and do the same thing on the other side.
Once your hitch is installed you will have a little movement left and right. Try and get it centered in the middle of the frame as best as possible. Then go ahead and snug up the 2 bolts you have installed. With our hitch in place lets go ahead and just drill out the holes. We have our holes drilled out lets go ahead and pull our hardware back through. After that is finished you can go ahead and screw your nuts onto the bolts. Repeat that step for the other side. Next you want to give the bolts their final torque and you will have the hitch installed and bolts all snugged down.
